I got hired by a school in mid-August and had problems with the visa process so I started on September 15th. I signed a two year contract. From the start there was no training but they were irritated when I didn’t conduct my classes the way they wanted. I was supposed to be teaching IELTS preparation but was never told much about it. I was hired because I have 6 years experience teaching English in the US to native speakers. I was just let go on the 7th of November which is just last Friday. I didn’t take it personal.
