Looking for advice of which new tech to buy for our family. We currently only have (2) 10+ yr old iPads that don’t really function anymore and (1) Dell laptop >4 yrs old won’t hold charge, loud, and broken touchpad.
1 adult w/ work laptop
1 adult using old laptop for landlord/property management, household finance, and writing.
2 kids in 1st grade requiring something for IXL and other STEAM homework assignments
1 toddler no tech needs
I was thinking of getting the Apple Mac Mini and using an older monitor for the general household needs and then a laptop or maybe an iPad like thing for on the go?
Should I get 2 iPads in anticipation of hw becoming more tech based? Should I just get a laptop and not a Mac Mini? Should I get not laptop/comp and just iPad things?

The kids currently only get to watch shows together on our 13 yr old TV for an hour a day during the week, we’re not a fan of them using any laptop/ipad for entertainment purposes. TIA!!
