Yesterday, Samsung made the brand’s first smartphone with a tri-folding display, the Galaxy Z TriFold, available to purchase in the United Arab Emirates. Well, it hasn’t been twenty-four hours since then, and the phone is already sold out in the region.
On Samsung’s official website for the UAE, the Galaxy Z TriFold is out of stock, with no restocking date in sight. The brand had priced the phone at AED 11,999 (approximately $3,267).
Samsung had also put the phone on sale via network carriers and authorised offline and online stores. Right after the device went on sale, it was already sold out on e&O’s website, and now, it is out of stock on Samsung’s website as well. If you are planning to buy the Galaxy Z TriFold, you can try local stores.
Samsung didn’t say how many units of the Galaxy Z TriFold it had made available to purchase in the region. Even if the brand put a small number of units on sale, the device being sold out in a day suggests that the sales are exceeding the brand’s expectations, or in other words, the demand for the phone is high.
