The joy of a hobby site is that the stakes are so low you could roll over them. You are your own client; therefore the chain of communication is very short. And there’s no pressure from deadlines! You don’t even have to launch the thing in the end if you don’t feel like it. This is a perfect time to throw some new ideas at a larger scale project and take them too far.

Everything is a feature; nothing is a bug.
