This year, our Lead Front End Developer at silverorange, Maureen Holland, has contributed article 16 to the 2024 HTMHell Advent Calendar, titled “You don’t need the isOpen class”. Maureen’s article addresses how the aria-expanded HTML attribute can be used to associate styling to the accessible state of your interface element.

It’s great to see Maureen’s expertise on display in the great company of writers like John Allsopp, Léonie Watson, and many others.
