Rimini Street has launched an artificial intelligence-based user interface layer for enterprise resource planning software that sits on top of existing systems and focuses on automation without major upgrades or migrations.
The service, called Rimini Agentic UX, targets organisations that run large Oracle, SAP and VMware estates and face pressure to cut IT spending while maintaining project pipelines. Rimini Street positions the product as a way to change how companies execute ERP processes and manage user interaction with core business systems.

Rimini Street is best known as a third-party support provider for major enterprise software platforms. It has built its business around maintenance and optimisation of existing deployments rather than vendor-led upgrade cycles.
AI layer on top
Rimini Agentic UX functions as an AI-driven engagement layer that connects to underlying ERP software. The company says it uses orchestration tools, automation and user experience design to create a single interface for workflows that would otherwise span multiple modules and screens.
The product introduces role-based and persona-based screens for business users. It applies AI techniques to automate repetitive steps, route tasks and surface information that sits inside back-office systems.
The vendor says this approach applies across different departments and business units. The focus is on reducing manual effort and compressing the time taken to complete established ERP processes.
Seth Ravin, president and CEO at Rimini Street, framed the launch as a response to long-running pressures in the ERP market. "Traditional ERP Software is reaching its technical and functional limits and lacks the agility required for an enterprise to respond with speed to today’s ever-changing environment," said Ravin.
Rimini Agentic UX sits on top of existing ERP installations rather than replacing them. It does not require migration to new ERP versions, which often involve multi-year programmes and significant consulting work.
Budget and upgrade pressure
The company argues that maintenance of core systems consumes most IT budgets, leaving little room for new projects. It points to falling technology budgets and ongoing expectations around digital services, data use and automation.
The vendor’s commercial message centres on avoiding traditional "rip-and-replace" programmes. It says that organisations can link Rimini Agentic UX into their current ERP landscape and run AI-based automation across functions such as finance, procurement and human resources.
Rimini Street describes deployment timeframes in weeks rather than years. It says early clients have moved from pilots to production use across multiple regions and subsidiaries.
Client projects
The company reports that dozens of enterprises have started using Rimini Agentic UX in live environments. These projects sit alongside Rimini Street’s existing work in third-party support and managed services.
Sunway Group, a Malaysia-based conglomerate, is one of the early adopters. The organisation uses Rimini Street for ERP support and has engaged with its AI initiatives.
"Without Rimini Street, a ton of our projects would still be stuck at the proposal stage," said Kevin Khoo, CIO at Sunway. "Instead, they’ve allowed us to start executing AI projects and other major tech initiatives that will be fundamental to competing and providing an excellent customer experience going forward."
These implementations run alongside Rimini Street’s consulting framework, called Rimini Smart Path. The methodology sets out a staged approach to using existing software assets while adding automation and AI-based services.
Smart Path approach
Rimini Street says it has worked with thousands of organisations on support and optimisation. It claims that this work has released significant funds for other initiatives as clients reduce vendor maintenance costs.
The company positions Rimini Smart Path as the delivery model for the new AI layer. The approach draws on ERP specialists and support teams that already work on Oracle and SAP environments.
Ravin links the methodology directly with the new product. "Rimini Street is leading the way forward with Rimini Agentic UX, bringing Agentic AI ERP to the real world. With Rimini Agentic UX and the Rimini Smart Path methodology, we can maximize the full potential of a client’s existing solutions, deploying Agentic AI ERP over the top of existing ERP Software to deliver savings and value in weeks, not months - and within the existing budget," said Ravin.
Rimini Street says organisations across multiple industries now use the combination of Smart Path and Agentic UX as part of their ERP roadmaps. It expects further production deployments as existing support customers explore automation across their installed systems.
