In their session "Rethinking the Playbook: How Lectric eBikes Took a Different Path," Conlow and Deziel will share how lifelong friends with complementary backgrounds in business and mechanical engineering built one of the most recognizable e-bike brands in the U.S.
By challenging long-held assumptions around pricing, distribution, and how brands connect with riders, Lectric eBikes took a markedly different approach to marketing, building a direct, digital-first relationship with riders and focusing on clarity, trust, and value over traditional industry playbooks. Their approach helped the brand scale efficiently and reach new audiences by expanding access to e-bikes well beyond the industry’s core customer base.
