We’ve gotten plenty of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies recently, including one that made a certain sect of culture warriors really, really mad, but how many have featured John Wick-style fight choreography? Not enough.
Indie animator John Likens has filled the gap. His two-minute test fight scene featuring Raphael and a whole lot of camera shake is the perfect treat for any adult TMNT fan (which I expect you are, if you’re reading this). I need a 15-minute short yesterday, please and thank you.
And since you can never tell nowadays, Likens specifies that AI was not involved at any point, which makes me root for him even more.
