Saved Items
By the end of this page, you'll understand how to save posts for later and organize your reading queue.
What Are Saved Items?
Saved items are posts you want to read or revisit later. Unlike reactions (which provide feedback to Scour about your interests), saving is purely organizational. It doesn't affect your feed ranking or interest suggestions. It's just a bookmark for you.
Your saved items are private: only you can see them. They don't appear on your public feed or profile.
How to Save a Post
There are two ways to save a post:
- Select a post and click Save: Click any post in your feed to select it, then click the button in the action bar that appears.
- Keyboard shortcut: Select a post (use j and k to navigate) and press s to save it instantly.
Click the button again (or press s again) to remove the post from your saved items.
Your Saved Items Page
All your saved posts live on your Saved Items page (find it in the navigation menu). Posts appear in the order you saved them (newest first).
Saved Items vs. Reactions
Saving is about organization—keeping posts you plan to read again or share with others.
Reactions (loving, liking, disliking) are about feedback. They help Scour learn what topics interest you and adjust your feed accordingly.
You can do both: save a post you want to revisit later and react to tell Scour how you feel about it. Or save something without reacting, even if it's interesting but not a topic you want more of.
